Our Mission
Global Watch Database was set up in 2024 by a group of watch enthusiasts with a simple aim: To enhance the security of watch ownership. The chances of recovering a watch after it is stolen are statistically very low.
Some watch manufacturers have their own in-house databases, and these stolen watches are only flagged years later when the watch is sent for a service by the unsuspecting owner of the stolen watch they may have innocently purchased. Through our simple registration process on the Global Watch Database, watch owners and enthusiasts can add an extra layer of security while adding a deterrent to watch thieves, knowing that a watch can be reported on our database in real time as “stolen”, faster than it can be sold.
